About Maple City Music

Maple City Music was founded by Walter Byrne, a U.S. Army veteran with more than 29 years of service and a lifelong passion for music.

Based in Saint Albans, Vermont, the Maple Capital of New England, Maple City Music was created to connect music lovers, collectors, and enthusiasts with the albums, artists, and sounds that have shaped generations. What began as a personal passion for collecting has grown into an independent music store offering thousands of vinyl records, CDs, cassettes, and music collectibles.

Music has always been more than entertainment. It brings people together, preserves memories, and provides comfort during life's challenges. Maple City Music was built on that belief and is dedicated to helping customers discover new favorites, revisit old classics, and uncover hidden gems.

Today, Maple City Music operates as an online store serving customers across the United States and beyond. With new inventory added regularly and a growing catalog of almost 4,000 titles, we strive to provide a trustworthy and enjoyable shopping experience for collectors of all levels.

As Maple City Music continues to grow, the vision extends beyond online sales. The long-term goal is to create a welcoming community-focused record store in Saint Albans where music lovers can gather, explore, share stories, and celebrate the power of music together.

Thank you for supporting a veteran-owned small business and for being part of the Maple City Music community.
