Refund policy
At Maple City Music, we believe in treating customers fairly and standing behind every order we ship. We strive to describe our products accurately, grade conservatively, and carefully package every item. If you experience an issue with your purchase, please get in touch with us, and we will work with you to find a reasonable and satisfactory resolution.
Return Window
Customers may request a return within 7 days of delivery.
To initiate a return, please get in touch with us at walter@maplecitymusic.com and include your order number and a description of the issue.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or if the wrong item was shipped, please get in touch with us within 7 days of delivery.
We may request photographs of the item and packaging to assist with evaluating the issue and filing carrier claims when necessary.
If an item is determined to be damaged, defective, unusable, or significantly different from the item ordered, Maple City Music will provide a full refund or, when available, a replacement.
In these cases, Maple City Music will cover any applicable return shipping costs.
Grading Concerns
Maple City Music uses a conservative grading approach and strives to provide accurate descriptions of all records, CDs, cassettes, and collectibles.
If you believe an item's condition does not reasonably match the published grade, please get in touch with us. We understand that grading can be subjective and will review each situation individually.
Returns related to grading concerns may be accepted upon review. Our goal is to ensure that every customer feels confident and satisfied with their purchase.
Change of Mind Returns
If you wish to return an item because you changed your mind, ordered incorrectly, or no longer want the item, you may request a return within 7 days of delivery.
Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received.
For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Refunds
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method after the returned item has been received and inspected.
Please allow several business days for your financial institution to process the refund once it has been issued.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items may not be eligible for return:
- Items damaged after delivery due to misuse, neglect, or improper handling
- Items returned in a different condition than originally received
- Special-order or custom items, when applicable
