Why This Record Matters
WWII reunited Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson during the peak of the outlaw country movement. The album includes collaborations on "(Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay," "Heroes," and "Write Your Own Songs," while also featuring solo performances from Waylon. Original RCA pressings remain popular with collectors of classic country and outlaw music.

Collector Note
1982 US RCA pressing with the original embossed cover and Woodland mastering by Denny Purcell. Produced primarily by Chips Moman and recorded in Nashville during a highly successful period for both artists. Original embossed jackets are a desirable feature for collectors.
